P.E.Policies
1. Students must be quiet in the hallway going to P.E. class.
2. Students are no allowed in locker rooms until permission is granted by the P.E. teacher.
3. Students in P.E. are required to have the following uniform:

5. Students are not allowed to borrow gym clothes or gym shoes from another student or
sibling, if they have forgotten to bring gym clothing to school. If a student does not have the
appropriate shorts and shirts, she/he may be given a reading/writing assignment to do
during the gym period. The P.E. teacher will prepare in advance materials dealing with
nutrition, exercise, physical fitness and/or health that will be appropriate for the student's
grade level and will form the basis for the reading/writing assignment. Not being dressed
appropriately for gym will impact negatively on a student's physical education grade.
Students who are consistently out of uniform will not be allowed to participate in the
physical education class.
6. A written excuse is required if a student is unable to participate in physical education
classes.

- Gray St. Joseph t-shirt
- White socks
- Gym shoes with white soles only. Black soles that leave marks will not be allowed.
- No other clothes will be allowed. P.E. clothing may be purchased at DMW in Manhattan.
