FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
It is hard to believe that the first day of school is next week.  Where did the summer go?  God gave us so many beautiful days for
our children to enjoy their families and community.  This week our students will begin the first day of the new school year 2008-
2009 and the teachers, staff, and administration has been very busy preparing for the new school year.  Mr. Tkoletz and Mrs.
Forsythe have been cleaning, scrubbing, and scouring the school to make our school shine like a new silver dollar.  Thank you for
your hard work.  The teachers have been getting their classrooms ready for this exciting new school year.  There are some new
faces this year that will greet you as you enter the school.  Your principal has been has been moving in and orientation to a new
school with the great help of Mrs. Berg (our school secretary). I do not know what I would have done without her assistance.  The
new fifth grade/ Science teacher is Mrs. Sheri Lord. Our new preschool 3 year old teacher is Mrs. Kristina Corcoran who will wears
a couple of hats. She will also be the sixth grade math teacher and our resource teacher.  We welcome all of the returning and
new families to Saint Joseph Catholic School where our faith and academics work strongly together.  Jesus Christ is the reason for
our school and the following of His teaching makes us strong. Through prayer and sacrifice of our parents and parishioners our
school continues to be vibrant in its faith and academics.

In His peace,
John T. Garvey
Principal
